2012 Campus Sustainability Day
Sustainability Day 2012 was a success! Over 100 students, staff, and faculty participated in “Drive to Not Drive,” using alternative transportation for the day. Thanks to our sponsor the American Society of Civil Engineers for promoting the event.
Think green:
- Turn off lights when rooms are not in use.
- Recycle cardboard, plastic, aluminum, toner/ink cartridges, etc.
- Report leaking faucets for repair.
- Commute, carpool or bike to work/school.
- Use a reusable water bottle.
- Use the back side of paper for printing.
- Reuse plastic shopping bags.
- Recycle textbooks by donating to bookstore for Books for Africa program.
- Many more online!
