Undergraduate Education 

Students studying industrial engineering and engineering management at South Dakota Mines will earn a BS degree in industrial engineering and engineering management

Students will be educated in liberal arts, higher mathematics, basic sciences, engineering sciences, and engineering design. The experience will be augmented by a variety of civil and environmental and natural science laboratory experiences, and a two-semester capstone multidisciplinary design course. At South Dakota Mines, undergraduate students start collaborating with faculty on research, an honor often reserved only for graduate students.
