SD State grants MSHA Program at SDSMT presents practical, state-of-the-art information, which is designed for working professionals in the mining and minerals industries. We promote active discussions and participation by trainees. Our trainers are MSHA-approved instructors for both surface and underground mines
The program offers many MSHA certification classes including:
- 30 CFR Part 46 New Miner Training (24 hours)
- 30 CFR Part 46 Annual Refresher Training (8 hours)
- 30 CFR Part 46 Newly Hired Experienced Miner Training (8 hours)
- 30 CFR Part 48 New Miner Training (24 hours)
- 30 CFR Part 48 Annual Refresher Training (8 hours)
