Vehicle Brick Building™ (VBB)
Date: July 7-10, 2014
If you're interested in making things this class is for you! Students, grades 4-8, will build up to 2 different motorized vehicles per class, capped off with a final project using our unique LEGO® kits. Projects include everyday vehicles, construction machines, and more! Students will learn a variety of concepts throughout this class, including basic engineering principles, gearing as well as gear ratios, electric motors and energy, integrated problem solving, forces in motion, and communication skills.

This class is an outstanding class for youth who are interested in how things work and enjoy building exercises! Along with having a blast at this half-day session students get to explore concepts including:
- Basic motor principles
- Teamwork and Collaboration
- Challenge students problem solving abilities
- Pride in projects as students race the cars they build
- Includes "Rubberband Car" Challenge (time permitting)
Vehicle Brick Building™ challenges students to incorporate the traits of an Engineer in a classroom setting. They get the opportunity to work with design changes and challenges just like an Engineer!
NOTE: Students do not get to bring home any of the Lego projects they create.
