Thank you for taking the time to explore our Youth Programs webpage! We appreciate your dedication to supporting the future 'shinning stars' of engineering and science fields. In order for us to continue providing these opportunities for youth we need your help!

Mission Statement
We provide high quality, hands-on educational opportunities for youth, students K-12, in science and engineering programs. Our mission is to build youth interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) areas and provide direction and pre-college experiences for future careers

Vision Statement
Our goal is to turn young minds on to the astounding, challenging, and FUN worlds of science and engineering; no one can do this better than the faculty and students of the School of Mines through hands-on activities and one-on-one interactions.

All of our events, hosted here on campus, give students the opportunity to get hands-on learning and network with their peers in exciting camps and events.

Considering giving a gift?  Some of the current Youth Program Events include:

General donations to support the growth and stability of our events is always welcomed.

The School of Mines Youth Programs is an outreach department focused on inspiring youth to get involved with the fields of science and engineering.

Your gift will go towards sponsoring a young mind, as a scholarship, to experience STEM learning and will make an immediate impact on our programs and student success.

2015 Sponsors
We want to give a big thank you and shout-out to all our current 2015 sponsors! Your support helps provide students the opportunity to experience the world of STEM. Thanks again!
