Career Launch (High School)  Concluded for 2013*

The School of Mines and Rapid City Industry are partnering with Rapid City Area Schools to provide sophomores, juniors, and seniors a fast start glimpse at a career choice in science and engineering. Spring Science Series
(Elementary, Middle School)
  Concluded for 2013*

The Science Series begins on Thursday evening, February 7 and runs for 4 weeks. Each Thursday features a science or engineering discipline. Programming is designed for middle- and elementary-school aged students and their families. The Series runs at the same time as Career Launch (see above) so families with a student enrolled in Career Launch can remain on campus and enjoy the Science Series.

Girls' Day (Middle School)  This Event Is Now FULL

Girls' Day 2013 is Wednesday, March 27th. Middle-school girls spend the entire day on campus going from workshop to workshop where they are engaged by professors and graduate students in hand-on activities designed to engage them in the fascinating, challenging, and FUN worlds of science and engineering. High Plains Science Fair (Middle School, High School)
