National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowships

The National Science Foundation (NSF) offers 2,000 graduate fellowships each year. Fellowships provide three years of support for graduate study leading to research-based M.S or Ph.D. degrees in the fields of science, mathematics, and engineering supported by the NSF and are intended for students in the early stages of their graduate study.

Level of Support
$40,500 Annually: $30,000 Stipend and $10,500 Cost of Education allowance per award.

Deadlines
Electronic applications are typically submitted via FastLane in early November/December of your senior year or first year of graduate study.
