Program Assistant, Museum of Geology - Samantha Hustoft
Samantha Hustoft is the Program Assistant in the Museum of Geology. She has a bachelors degree in geology from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Samantha spent some time volunteering at the Yale Peabody Museum in the paleobotany and invertebrate paleontology labs. She also volunteered in the kid’s Discovery Room and had a part time position at the front desk. Samantha was in the corporate world for a while working as a Product Coordinator with Gartner Greetings in Lincoln, RI, where she coordinated the purchasing of seasonal product for all of direct to store accounts throughout the United States. Most recently she was a substitute teacher for the Rapid City School District.
Samantha joined the Museum of Geology in February 2013, where she manages the museum floor and gift shop.
