Common Exam
The 'common exam' is an exam that is given simultaneously to several sections of a multiple section course. Designated periods for 'common exams' are 7-9 pm on Mondays, 11-11:50 am on Tuesdays, and 7-7:50 am on Thursdays. Common exams are scheduled on a 'first-come, first-served basis.' Instructors wanting to schedule an exam should review the Common Exam schedule below and then email Surbeck Scheduling to schedule an exam.
2013 Spring Common Exam Spreadsheet | SDSM&T Policy Manual Policy II-3 lists the Common Examination Scheduling instructions. The common exam period is not to be used for routine exams for a single section course.
