Peer Advising

Peer Advisors are upper-class students selected with the recommendation of their departments to assist first-year students with advising and registration activities, including planning class schedules, interpreting university procedures and policies, and making referrals to other university services. Peer advisors do not take the place of faculty academic advisors but they do assist them in fulfilling their roles as academic advisors. Peer advisors assist these faculty academic advisors with the fall and spring registrations and the university orientation course.
