New Student Orientation
All new students will need to attend an Orientation prior to the start of the semester. This program will prepare students for the challenges they may face their first year of college. Students will have the opportunity to get connected to the campus community and build relationships with other new incoming students. Summer orientation sessions are listed below. Parents are encouraged to attend the Parent Orientation Sessions. Please register for the orientation so that we can be prepared to meet your needs.
Orientation
Orientation is full of activities planned to help students get to know one another - as well as learn more about campus and college life. It is a two day event that will cover detailed sessions about how to succeed as a first year student at the School of Mines - meeting students, faculty, staff, Tablet PC Orientation, and more!
Register for Orientation using the New Student Interactive Checklist.
Orientation takes place the day after the Residence Halls open for occupancy in the Fall. Student meal plans will cover the cost of their meals during orientation. Parents and guests will need to pay for meals.
