To map network drives, follow these directions:
- Click the Start button
- Select Computer
- Select Map a network drive from the menu bar
- Select the Drive letter you would like to use for mapping
- Type in the path for what you are trying to map
\\speedy.sdsmt.edu\sdsmtshare is used for the departmental folders ("F drive")
\\speedy.sdsmt.edu\(student id)$ is used for your personal files ("H drive")
Replace (student id)$ with your student id followed by a '$' e.g. 1234567$
- Click Finish
