Research Expertise
My research focus is atmospheric physics and chemistry, including mainly cloud and aerosol processes,  along with thunderstorm electrification and lightning. My goals include both basic scientific discovery and real-world applications. Examples of real-world applications of my work include weather forecasting, cloud seeding for precipitation enhancement and hail damage mitigation, local and regional air quality, and wind and solar energy.
