Dane Finnesand named Feb. Traditions of Excellence Award

RAPID CITY, S.D. (Feb. 4, 2014) – Dane Finnesand, computer support specialist, ITS Department, has been named the Traditions of Excellence Award recipient for February 2014.

Nominators cited Finnesand’s perpetual good mood, professionalism, courteousness and willingness to set up recording equipment on short notice. “He is a well-treasured piece of the puzzle when it comes to getting rooms on campus ready for each semester and providing assistance to the instructors on this campus,” nominators added.

Finnesand will receive his certificate at the Feb. 20 career service general membership meeting.

The Career Service Council, in conjunction with the President’s Office selects TEA recipients based on performance of assigned duties at a high level or above and beyond expectations, initiative taken to promote the concept of successful job completion and promotion of a positive working relationship with students, faculty and staff.
