
RAPID CITY, S.D. (April 16, 2013) – For a single weekend in April, generations of alumni will come together for music and memories, athletic feats and old-fashioned fun as the 34th annual South Dakota School of Mines & Technology Alumni Weekend and Choral Alumni Weekend converge.
Alumni will come from all corners of the country and all walks of life, from last year’s graduates to today’s CEOs, to tee off, score a touchdown, serve, spike and sing.
Events include a choral concert at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 19; alumni volleyball and football games Saturday, April 20, at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.; and a cabaret-style performance Sunday, April 21, at 6:30 p.m.
Greek chapters on campus will host an All Greek Community Service Project at the alumni football game, selling walking tacos from 11-3 p.m. on Saturday, April 20. Proceeds from the event will go to a local family in need with extensive medical expenses. Sponsoring organizations are: the Alpha Delta Pi and Alpha Omega Epsilon sororities and the Alpha Chi Sigma, Delta Sigma Phi, Lambda Chi Alpha, Theta Tau and Triangle fraternities.

SDSM&T Alumni 4-man Scramble Gold Tournament: 11 a.m. (Hart Ranch Gold Club, not open to public)

Saturday, April 20
Women’s Alumni Volleyball Game: 10 a.m. (King Center)
Alumni Football Game: 1 p.m. (Dunham Field at O’Harra Stadium)
56th Annual Alumni Recognition Event: 5:30 p.m. (Music Center, not open to public)

Spring Fling Cabaret – Jazz Band, Master Chorale: 6:30 p.m. (Music Center)
