RAPID CITY, S.D. (Oct. 15, 2012) – On Oct. 24, the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology will celebrate its 4th annual Campus Sustainability Day with the Drive to Not Drive, challenging students, faculty and staff to use alternative transportation for the day. Whether you carpool, bike, walk or ride your motorcycle or scooter, you’ll not only be environmentally-responsible, you’ll be entered for the chance to win prizes, including a $50 gift card for the SDSM&T Bookstore, $20 for Qdoba and $15 for Fresh Berry.
Check out the student chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Surbeck Center’s Hoven Hub the day before for tips, eco-friendly gadgets and the chance to sign-up for prizes.
