Jimmies shake loose Rockers in second half of DAC action

JAMESTOWN, N.D. — Jamestown (N.D.) College outscored South Dakota Mines 47-37 over the final 20 minutes of play as the Jimmies collected an 83-73 Dakota Athletic Conference men’s basketball win Friday.
The loss was
the fifth in six games for the Hardrockers (7-19, 4-8 DAC).
Michael Ross notched 15 points to lead Mines in scoring. Donny
DeGooyer followed with 13 points and a team-high six rebounds.
Jake Holen tossed in a game-high 35 points for Jamestown. Holen went
4-of-9 from beyond the 3-point arc. Kyle Iverson finished with 18
points and Kellen Bubach netted 12 for the Jimmies.
Mines plays at Valley City State today, tipping off at 5 p.m. MST.
Jamestown (20-6, 10-2 DAC) hosts Black Hills State, with a 5 p.m.
scheduled start.
