Former Broncs' gridder signs with Hardrocker football program

RAPID CITY --- The South Dakota School of Mines and Technology along with Hardrocker head football coach Dan Kratzer are very pleased to announce the addition of Clint Kling to the Hardrocker football program.

Kling is somewhat of a local talent, playing football for the Belle Fourche Broncs until 2006 when he graduated and then spent a year playing football at Sierra Community College in California.

Kling comes into the Hardrocker program as 6-foot-3-inch, 270 pound sophomore that has exceptional skills on the offensive and defensive lines. He will primarily be on the D-line while at SDSM&T.

“Clint was an outstanding lineman, both offensively and defensively for Sierra College,” said Kratzer. “He could come in at center and start right away for us but with our (defense) we feel he is capable of playing at the nose tackle position.”

Kling helped the Sierra Wolverines to a successful 9-2 overall record. His team had an undefeated 5-0 conference record and Sierra was crowned the Valley Conference champions and had the second best record in Northern California.

“Clint is a young man that can help us right away on either side of the football,” Kratzer added.

While attending South Dakota School of Mines, Kline plans to major in Mining Engineering.
