Casey Jeffrey

Tech's Casey Jeffrey earned NAIA All-American status for the fourth time in the discus at the NAIA Track and Field Championships on May 24 & 25,. in Olathe, Kansas. Jeffrey finished second in the discus with a throw of 166 feet, 9 inches. He finished sixth in the shot put with a throw of 53 feet and earned All-American status for the third time in that event. Jeffrey, a native of Spearfish, SD, has earned NAIA Academic All-American status on two occassions. "Casey did a great job," offered Tech coach Jerry Scafer.
