Information Technology Services boasts an exceptionally robust network. Always on the leading edge (and sometimes bleeding edge) of technology, the ITS staff strives to provide the best technology with the least amount of downtime.
It is the goal of ITS to provide the South Dakota Mines Campus Community with the technology tools they need in support of the University mission.
Wireless
In addition to the wired network, ITS offers wireless connections for both public and private connections.

For Faculty, Staff and students working from remote locations, a Virtual Provider Network (VPN) is available. Users may

from remote locations. So whether you're home or traveling, you can access the Mines network and servers.
