Keys are issued by the Physical Plant upon the written request of the Department Chair, Dean, or member of the University Executive Council.

Keys will be issued directly to the authorized individual. Keys must be returned before a person will be considered as completing their obligation to SDSM&T either as a student or employee. SDSM&T will provide security of each faculty member's office and files by means of a lockable desk or file. For assistance, please contact the Physical Plant (2251).
