Norwegians are currently (Fall 2003) studying abroad. Approximately 20 of these
are attending at the
South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, which is located in a lovely
and exciting town called Rapid City in South Dakota.
This site is mainly dedicated to the Norwegian student community at SDSM&T.
ANSA, our organization is working towards propagating the culture and traditions
of Norway in the United States of America, and also maintain the social part of
being here as a Norwegian student. The community has about 20 members and is
affiliated to ANSA USA (which is under ANSA) and SDSM&T.
 Main objectives of ANSA Rapid City is to:
maintain Norwegian traditions.
provide a supportive and homely atmosphere for Norwegian students.
assist prospective Norwegian students.
