  Professionalism

Alpha Omega Epsilon is a professional sorority for women engineers and scientists. We provide women a place where they can learn about and develop the skills needed to succeed in a professional society.

We have attended several workshops provided by the school to learn more on such topics as job benefits and networking.

Leadership

Alpha Omega Epsilon gives women on campus a chance to improve their leadership skills by holding offices, providing encouragement, and through various speakers and projects.

These added challenges and responsibilities help to make us strong, confident leaders both in our school and in our community.

As a result, many ladies in Alpha Omega Epsilon are involved in campus organizations and hold or have held leadership positions.

Sisterhood

Sisterhood is very important at Alpha Omega Epsilon as it is the bond that holds us together and keeps us united as a group. We promote that bond through various Sisterhood retreats, gatherings, programs, and event showers.

SDSM&T is a difficult school, and we try to provide our members with a support network of caring individuals who work together for success.

Friendship

The Ladies of Alpha Omega Epsilon know that friendship is vital to success, be it at school, in the community, or on the job. We do our best to foster and maintain friendships with other people, organizations, alumni, current actives, in-actives, and future members.  Remember, our door is always open to anyone, no matter what! If you need anything, stop by the house or give us a call.

We are the Beta chapter of Alpha Omega Epsilon. Our chapter was founded by 19 young women on January 1, 1985 and was locally recognized on February 6, 1985.
