The official name of the organization shall be the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology Drama Club. Its official motto shall be "Integrating the Fine Arts".
All registered students and faculty, regardless of race, creed, color, religion, sexual orientation, or physical body shall be eligible for membership within the Drama Club.
SECTION 2
All members of the Drama Club shall be entitled to full voting privileges and shall be eligible for office.
SECTION 3
To become a member, all those eligible must fulfill the following requirement of six Drama Club points. Voting members include those individuals with at least six DC points, with at least three of those points having been earned in the current or previous two semesters. Drama Club points shall be awarded in the following way: one point for every meeting attended, three points for participation in any form on any Drama Club production, (e.g. their name appears in the program). Points are awarded at the completion of the meeting/production/etc. If there is any question as to whether someone's participation counts, (e.g. his or her name was excluded from the program,) the President shall determine the validity.
The officers of the SDSM&T Drama Club shall consist of a President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary, Historian, Publicist/Program Editor, and Student Production Manager/Technical Director.
SECTION 2

SECTION 4-IMPEACHMENT PROCESS
If the President feels that another officer is not fulfilling the responsibilities of the office, impeachment proceedings can begin immediately, with a vote of the majority of Drama Club members required for impeachment. Additionally, a majority of Drama Club members may bring about a vote for impeachment. Should that happen, the highest-ranking officer not in question would handle the impeachment proceedings. If a two-thirds margin of all Drama Club members is reached, then a formal meeting shall be called to determine the fault of the officer in question. At this meeting, the officer in question will be allowed to defend the accusations against them. At the conclusion of the meeting, another vote will be taken. If at this time, a two-thirds margin is reached, the officer will then be removed from office and the President shall fill that position.

Officer elections shall be conducted by the President at a meeting called for that specific purpose. At the start of the meeting the President shall appoint an election official to count all the votes. The official members of Drama Club may nominate individuals to run for any one office.
