InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, abbreviated IVCF, is an interdenominational , student-led, Christian organization that seeks to provide friendship, support, and training for students, as it reaches out to the campus with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Purpose Statement:
In response to God's love, grace and truth: The purpose of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA is to establish and advance at colleges and universities witnessing communities of students and faculty who follow Jesus as Savior and Lord: growing in love for God, God's Word, God's people of every ethnicity and culture and God's purposes in the world.

Vision:
Our statement of faith is as follows...

1)The unique Divine inspiration, entire trustworthiness and authority of the Bible.
2) The Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ.
3)The necessity and efficacy of the substitutionary death of Jesus Christ for the redemption of the world and the historic fact of His bodily resurrection.
4) The presence and power of the Holy Spirit in the work of regeneration.
5) The expectation of the personal return of our Lord Jesus Christ.

IVCF has set the standard for chapters nationwide. Our collective vision is to build collegiate fellowships which engage the campus in all of its ethnic diversity with the gospel of Jesus Christ, and to develop disciples that embody Biblical values.

Foundations:
Our primary objective is to love God... We believe it is of utmost importance to love people... Jesus said, "Go into all the world..." We are dedicated to spreading the good news, both at home, and abroad...

Statement of Theological Foundations:
We affirm the Bible,
its unique divine inspiration
its entire trustworthiness and authority,

And therefore we are convinced of:

The glorious majesty of the one true and living God,
eternally existing in three persons,
Father, Son and Holy Spirit,
the almighty Creator of everything,

The value and dignity of all persons
created by God to live in holiness and love,
but alienated from God since the Fall
and subject to God's just wrath
because of their sinfulness and guilt,

The coming of Jesus Christ, fully human and fully divine,
who assumed the judgment due sinners by dying in their place,
so that they can be justified by God's grace alone
as they repent and trust the Lord Jesus fully for their salvation,

The supernatural presence and enabling power of the Holy Spirit,
who was sent by the resurrected, ascended Lord,
who gives new birth and new life in love and holiness,

The unity of all believers in the church of Jesus Christ,
a witnessing community making disciples throughout the world,

The future personal return and reign of Jesus Christ,
who will judge all people with perfect justice and mercy,
giving over the unrepentant to eternal condemnation
but receiving the redeemed into eternal life.

The Lord Jesus Christ, with the Father and the Holy Spirit, shall have honor and glory forever.

Outreach:
We use displays, signs, and posters to let the campus and the community know that IVCF is here, and here for God's purposes. We also participate in the 2+ program, where we team up with a fellow Christian, and pray together for one un-saved person we know. Partners also hold each other accountable for the spiritual lives, and their prayer life...
