Young Atheists' Newsleter, #2

Greetings everyone! Here's the second edition of our newsletter. I've decided to try my best to get one out each Sunday.

CLUB NEWS:
We currently have nine (9) members from America Online and six (6) Internet members. Not bad for two weeks. If you know anyone who fits in to the catergory of atheist (majority of the club), agnostic (me), or any other religion who wants to be included on a discussion paper, have them e-mail me. We could always use more members! I'll tell you why in a sec....

I will NOT tolerate any sort of flaming towards myself or other members and their ideas. If I receive a report of such activities that cause anyone distress, the person responsible will have their membership terminated. This newsletter will contain any subject matter you wish to see. What I will not publish will be anything that I feel is not "fit to print." If a member sees something that he/she does not want to see in the newsletter, speak up! I will make a correction in a following newsletter.

You will see the above guidelines in each newsletter.
Well, the reason we need more members is not just to increase our population, but so in case some of you don't submit something each week, we'll have others to fall back on. I'm expecting a piece from a fellow member very soon (I was expecting it this week, hint, hint). If you want to submit something, it can be very simple. I'm not asking for 20 page essays here. Any questions that. So please! If you know someone who would like to recieve this newsletter, e-mail me. If you have suggestions as to a way to better run my newsletter, e-mail me.

Here's this weeks question.
The question is: "what is love?" I recieved this and a few others from a fellow member. I hope we can get some good responses to publish because it will prepare us for the discussion paper Gary will be sending me soon. Please send anything. A short sentence, a long paragraph, whatever. This is important guys! You wanted to be part of the newsletter! You gotta send!

Ok, next are some things I found for you if you want to continue research of religions or what ever you want to do. For AOL members, it's simple. Keyword RELIGION will set you in the section filled with religious stuff. Discussions, chat rooms, whatever. For us Internet surfers, there is the ever popular newsgroup alt.atheism.moderated.
There is also an FTP site: ftp.mantis.co.uk.

That's it for this week everyone. Sorry it wasn't much of a discussion. We're still just getting settled.

Your host,
KevinL3@aol.com
