The Title III Strengthening Institutions Program is a competitive

The ultimate goal of the of the program is student success. In
order to achieve this the SDSM&T Title III program is focused
on three activities:
Activity I - Improve student success
and retention through better identification and tracking of at-risk
students, better mentoring/advising of students, and better data
retrieval to support management planning and decisions by better
utilizing the regental database system.
Activity II - Improve student learning
outcomes and retention through the enhancement of the educational
technology in engineering and science to a level that closely matches
the current industry standards.
Activity III - Project management. The
purpose of project management is to insure efficient and effective
