History Conference. The South Dakota State Historical Society annual History Conference will be held on May 2–3, 2008 at the Ramkota Hotel in Rapid City. New this year is online registration.

Island in the Plains. The 16th annual Island in the Plains Archaeological and Historical Symposium will be held May 8–9, 2008 at the Best Western Inn and the Bear Lodge High School Auditorium in Sundance, Wyoming.

The online ARMS database now has a version of our radiocarbon database available.

A new version of the HACS cataloging software is now available. It fixes an error where use of the [HACS] button might create extra blank catalog records.
