Chemistry, Biology, and Health Sciences

In the Department of Chemistry, Biology, and Health Sciences, undergraduate students delve into the very foundation of life itself. Students choose from three distinct but overlapping majors – chemistry, biology, or health sciences. While the study of biology explores all living organisms in order to answer the question “what is life,” chemistry strives to explain the world through the study of matter and its properties. Both chemistry and biology are key components of the health sciences program.

All three undergraduate degrees prepare students for a wide range of exciting careers or professional programs, from biomedicine, policy and law, health care, medical school, physical therapy programs, and more.
