Electrical Engineering MS
MSEE Program Options and Requirements:
- Total 30 credits required for MSEE
- Core requirement for all program options: 2-4 credits of EE Seminar (EE690)

Admission Requirements for MSEE program:
- GRE is recommended, but not required.
- Foreign transcript evaluation (WES) is not required for international students.
- A minimum of two recommendation letters are required.
- A resume (education, experience, software and hardware skills, etc.) is required.
- A statement of purpose expressing students’ wish to obtain a master’s degree in the electrical engineering program at South Dakota Mines is required.
- Evidence of English proficiency (TOEFL/IELTS) is required, with the exception of applicants from countries where English is the native language. Applicants who have a degree from a U.S. institution may be considered for exemption. The South Dakota Mines school code for TOEFL reporting is 6652.
