Minerals Industry Management Specialization, MS
Background info:
This program is intended for graduate students interested in leadership roles in the mining industry.
Entry to this specialization is available to those with a BS/BA from an accredited University who have a minimum of three years employment in the Minerals Industry or related industry; or is a South Dakota Mines Accelerated Graduate student; or holds
a BS or MS in Mining Engineering.
Program info:
This is a non-thesis only program and has total credit requirement of 33 credits. There must be 30 credits of core requirements and 3 credits of elective courses.
Students who possess a BS or MS in Mining Engineering may exchange MEM 501 for an additional topics course. Half of all classes must be taken at a 600 level or higher.
