Returning Home

We would LOVE to hear about your experiences abroad, and we hope you are willing to share what you learned. Please contact our office if you are willing to give presentations. international@sdsmt.edu

For many students, coming home to South Dakota Mines requires as much of an adjustment as going abroad did. You may find that Mines is physically different from when you left, and some faces among faculty, staff, and students are new. Some students breeze right through these changes, others find them quite disconcerting. Some students feel that everyone has changed, but in reality, the student has changed through an exceptional life experience.
