Fab Labs

In partnership with Halliburton, we are happy to introduce a new program to our campus: Fab Labs! Fab Labs will focus on fabrication in the real world using hands-on demonstrations with our Ph.D. level faculty members. These workshops will include three content areas: 3-D Printing, Circuits and Soldering, and Blacksmithing and Casting. 

  • Electrical and Computer Engineering: Circuits and Soldering - Thursday, March 1st, 2018 from 4:30pm-6:30pm (Grades 9-12) REGISTER NOW
  • Mechanical Engineering: 3-D Printing - Wednesday, April 11th, 2018 from 4:30pm-6:30pm (Grades 6-8)  REGISTER NOW
  • Mechanical Engineering: 3-D Printing - Wednesday, April 18th, 2018 from 4:30pm-6:30pm (Grades 9-12) REGISTER NOW
  • Metallurgy: Blacksmithing and Casting - Wednesday, April 4th, 2018 from 4:30pm-6:30pm (Grades 6-8)  REGISTRATION CLOSED  
  • Metallurgy: Blacksmithing and Casting - Thursday, April 5th, 2018 from 4:30pm-6:30pm (Grades 9-12)  REGISTRATION CLOSED        

This is a free event. Priority enrollment is given to female, minority, at risk and low income students. Pre-registration required.
