Degree Verifications
Students in need of a degree verification can visit the Registrar's Office. If a third party is requesting a degree verification, please visit the National Student Clearinghouse.
Enrollment Verifications (for current Mines Students and Alumni)
Current students (not employed with Board of Regents)-
For current semester enrollment verifications before the census date, visit the Registrar's Office. The week after census, you will
be able to access an enrollment verification through National Student
Clearinghouse. These are official and are provided to current students through Self-Service Banner, at no cost, 24 hours a day, by the National Student Clearinghouse. After logging on to Self-Service Banner, select Student Profile from the four-square menu. The Enrollment Verification link is in the menu beneath your profile photo. Verifications can be used for insurance companies, scholarships, military identification cards, prospective employment, student housing, and all other services that require proof of being enrolled at South Dakota Mines.
Current, Alumni, and Board of Regents Employees-
Enrollment verifications can also be accessed directly for current students and alumni at MyHub. There is also no cost associated with MyHub. Alumni and students who are currently employed with the South Dakota Board of Regents must use the "social" Google or LinkedIn login system at the MyHub landing page.
Please note, South Dakota Mines did not begin
reporting data to National Student Clearinghouse until January of 1996. Alumni
enrollment data may not be fully complete if attended before this date. If you
do not have a Google or LinkedIn or you are an Alumni who attended before January
of 1996, feel free to contact our office or request a transcript.
For third party requestors:
The National Student Clearinghouse is the University’s Authorized Certifying Agent to provide degree and enrollment verifications, credentialing firms, prospective employers, and other third-party requestors. Verifications can be ordered 24 hours a day from the
Clearinghouse website.
