Frank Family

Frank Family International Fund

The Frank Family International Fund was established by Mr. Richard (ME 63) and Dr. Irma Frank (photo, right) to emphasize the value of and to create opportunities for international educational experiences for South Dakota Mines students with benefits to the host countries.  Emphasis is placed on projects of a humanitarian nature with particular interest for projects or studies taking place in Latin America. Other developing countries are considered, but projects in Latin American countries will be given preference.  Students who receive funding are required to provide a written report on their experiences.
