District 5610 - Global Grant Scholarship

This is a wonderful scholarship opportunity sponsored by Rotary District 5610. The Scholarship Committee is seeking potential applicants in our community.

Scholarships range from one to four years and could include an entire degree program. Prospective scholars must show proof of admission to the chose university before the grant will be approved.

Global grant scholars are expected to participate in club or district activities before, during, and after the scholarship.

The brochure link below will answer questions you may have, and here are some additional critical pieces of information:

  • The successful applicant will receive a $30,000 grant for GRADUATE level studies.
  • The student must provide proof of no less than provisional acceptance to a university OUTSIDE OF THE UNITED STATES at the time the scholarship application is submitted.

The student's graduate study must be related to one of the following six areas of focus:

  • Peace and Conflict Resolution
  • Disease Prevention & Treatment
  • Water & Sanitation
  • Maternal & Child Health
  • Basic Education Literacy
  • Economic & Community Development

  • Application deadline is TBA.
  • Applicants cannot be related in any way to a member of Rotary.
  • Applicants must be residents of District 5610.
