Established in 1885, we’re nestled in the eastern slope of
the Black Hills in Rapid City. As one of the leading STEM institutions in the
nation, our students have a 98% placement rate, but it’s not all work, no play.
Mines features over 100 student organizations, so there are endless ways to get
involved on campus. Mines features an on-campus museum, athletics facilities,
student union, and housing in addition to classrooms, cutting-edge research
spaces, and a newly renovated library.
