Reporting

Our office responds to reports, concerns, and inquiries pertaining to harassment, discrimination, and sexual misconduct. We assist students, employees, program participants and campus visitors.

The Title IX Coordinator and Title IX/EO Investigators are knowledgeable about all options for complaint resolution. We work closely with Human Resources, Student Affairs, the Behavioral Intervention Team, and the South Dakota Mines Public Safety Department.

If your concern requires immediate assistance, please dial 911 or contact Mines Public Safety at 605-394-6100.

To make a report in-person, please contact the Title IX Coordinator at 605-394-2533, via email at TitleIX@sdsmt.edu, or visit the Title IX office in the Surbeck Center (down the hall from the Rocker Shop Bookstore).

You can report an incident of sexual harassment or sexual violence through the student Advocate Online Reporting. This report can be made anonymously if the individual reporting chooses not to disclose certain details.
