NASA Presentation: Houston, We've Had a Problem - The Amazing Story of Apollo 13

On April 11, 1970, Apollo 13 lifted off for the Moon. Two days later, with the spacecraft well on its way to the Moon, an oxygen tank exploded, scrubbing the lunar landing, putting the crew in jeopardy, and beginning one of the most remarkable rescue missions in history. NASA’s “can-do” spirit lives on today, as America’s space agency is working to send astronauts back the Moon by 2024 with an eye toward Mars.
