Mines on the Road


    You're invited to attend the Mines on the Road event nearest you! These events are a great way to learn more about South Dakota Mines and connect with other students, admissions, and alumni as well as provide a snapshot of what type of company you could work for after graduating from South Dakota Mines. 


    What to Expect:
    You will get a chance to meet and speak with your admissions representative, other prospective students, and hear stories from alumni.

    Order of Events: 
    • Check In: Pick up your name tag.
    • Appetizers/Mingling: Take this time to grab some food, and ask questions about South Dakota Mines.
    • Alumni Panel: Hear stories from alumni about their careers after graduating from South Dakota Mines.
    • Closing: Ask any remaining questions you have. 

    Common Questions:



    Q: Do I need to stay the whole time?
    A: You are welcome to stay for as long or as short of a time as you feel comfortable. However, we encourage you to stay for at least an hour so you can hear from our alumni and admissions representative.

    Q: Will dinner be served?
    A: There will appetizers served throughout the event.

    Q: Who can I bring?
    A: Bring your parents, siblings, or anyone you know of who is interested in South Dakota Mines.
