Prospective Students Invited to Go to Mines Events

South Dakota Mines will host prospective students during two Go to Mines events this fall. Students and their families are invited to attend Go to Mines on Saturday, Oct.23 or Saturday, Nov. 13.

South Dakota Mines will host prospective students during two Go to Mines events this fall. Students who live in South Dakota can also apply to Mines for free from Oct. 18 to Nov. 30 during College Access Month when application fees are waived.

High school students and their families are invited to South Dakota Mines on Saturday, Oct. 23 and Saturday, Nov. 13 for the fall Go to Mines open house events. The spring Go to Mines events, geared for high school juniors, is planned for April 23, 2022. Personal visits as well as virtual tours of campus are also available.

During Go to Mines, students and their families get to tour departments, residence halls and other facilities as well as meet faculty and current students. The in-depth campus visits are open to students of all ages, particularly high school juniors and seniors exploring their college options.
