What is Pre-Professional Health Sciences?
If you’re interested in a career in healthcare, a degree in Pre-Professional Health Sciences from South Dakota Mines will set you up for success.
This program prepares students like you for admission into a variety of graduate and professional programs, including medical and dental schools, physical and occupational therapy programs, physician assistant and chiropractic programs, and optometry and radiography programs.
Our program includes volunteer work in the community and coursework in the humanities and social sciences to help you meet the admissions requirements of these professional schools.
What does a pre-professional health scientist do?
Pre-professional health science students take rigorous science and math courses from across the curriculum to prepare for admission to graduate and professional programs.
