Hardrocker Success - Navigate

South Dakota Mines joined with the Education Advisory Board (EAB) to bring a new student success platform for students, faculty, student support staff, and advisors. Mines will use this tool to improve student success and facilitate communication among students, faculty, and staff across campus. The platform is called Navigate and we are branding it Hardrocker Success. It replaces the Starfish tool. 

Hardrocker Success is a mobile app that provides students with the support they need, where they need it—on their phones. Through its individualized, student-centered, on-demand information for students, Hardrocker Success empowers students with the information that will keep them on a path toward graduation, including up to date information on key dates, easy access to campus resources (both academic and student life), and the ability to directly schedule advising appointments.

Faculty & Staff

Hardrocker Success provides the platform to easily connect with and track communications with your students and other faculty/staff users: 

  • Proactive outreach that tracks whether a student completes a request
  • Provides progress reports to provide mid-term course updates
  • Group students to further track and provide outreach
  • Upload your advising and office hours schedules for self-services scheduling by your students
  • Share your notes with other faculty and staff who need to know
  • Connect with users across campus to efficiently and effectively resolve student issues.
