Connect to SDSMT Network Through VPN

Faculty, Staff and students working off campus are able to securely connect to campus network resources using a Virtual Provider Network (VPN).  So whether you're home or traveling, you can access the SDSM&T network and servers.

Many student tablets are already configured to connect via VPN when not on campus. To connect, simply select the "SD Mines VPN" in the available Wireless Networks tab in lower right section your task bar. 

Note: If you are on campus using a university-owned computer or student tablet PC and successfully connected to the "sdsmtwpa" wireless network, you do not need to use a VPN connection to access network resources.
