SD Mines hosts two career fairs annually, giving you access to over 150 employers from across the country. These employers are looking to hire students for internships and co-ops. These are great learning experiences and many times students are offered jobs before they graduate. The average internship/co-op wage is over $18 an hour.

Career Outlook

The demand for graduates in the individual fields of business and engineering is a significant priority in the United States. Employers of SD Mines graduates such as Caterpillar, Nucor, and Komatsu indicate a strong demand for graduates possessing both technical and business management skills.

This is a new program and no graduate salaries have been reported yet. One occupation graduates may consider is Sales Engineer. The median national average salary for sales engineers is $101,420. Placement rates are not available at this time.
