Dr. Robinson is Associate Department Head and Professor in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology where he teaches and performs research in the areas of structural analysis, structural design, and composite materials. He received his Ph. D. in structural engineering from the University of California, San Diego and his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Utah State University. Prior to pursuing his Ph.D., Dr. Robinson worked as a design engineer for ABS Consulting and is a licensed Structural Engineer.
