Museum of Geology at South Dakota Mines Hosts Night at the Museum

Night at the Museum returns to the Museum of Geology at South Dakota Mines on Oct. 21 from 1:30-4:30 p.m.

The Museum of Geology at South Dakota Mines is hosting its annual Night at the Museum Halloween celebration from 1:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21.

Children can trick or treat in a safe environment while learning about ancient marine reptiles, dinosaurs, prehistoric mammals and rocks through games and hands-on education. The staff and volunteers also dress up, making this a free and fun event for all ages. A donation of $10 is suggested per family and supports the Museum and the Paleontology Club at SDM.

Activities will occur in the Museum of Geology and the Paleontology Research Lab on the SDM campus. A campus map can be found here.
