Spring Semester - 2026

• Classes begin – January 12

• Martin Luther King Jr. Day Holiday – January 19

• Last day to add or drop a course and adjust fees – January 21

• Last day for pass/fail and audit options – January 21

• Last day to pay tuition and fees – January 22

• Presidents' Day Holiday – February 16

• Midterm (First half of semester ends) – March 9

• Midterm grades due by midnight – March 12

• Spring vacation begins at end of class day – March 13

• Classes resume – March 23

• Graduation application due for undergraduate students planning to graduate in December 2026 – March 23

• Early Registration Weeks (Tentative) – March 23–April 10

• Easter Break begins at end of class day** – April 2

• Classes resume – April 6

• Last day to withdraw from classes – April 7

• Final examinations – May 4–8

• Semester ends – May 8

• Spring Graduation – May 9

• Final grades are due by midnight – May 13

*The Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs has authorized early dismissal on M-Day in prior years for students, faculty, and staff to attend M-Day activities. Please note this and plan events and class sessions accordingly.

 ** The Governor has authorized administrative leave on the Monday following Easter in prior years and classes were canceled.  Although April 6th is currently scheduled as a class day, please note this and plan events and class sessions accordingly.
