General Information
Your campus ID card is your library card. Campus ID cards from any South Dakota Regental
institution may be used to check out print materials from any Regental library.
If you are a South Dakota Mines student currently not on campus, please e-mail library@sdsmt.edu to request access to the library.
Most library materials may be renewed:

- by phone, (605) 394-2418
- by e-mail, library@sdsmt.edu
Please note: INTERLIBRARY LOANS may only be renewed by the lending library. Contact the Devereaux Library Services to request a renewal at least 3 days before the due date.
Library staff is available to provide formal presentations or tours to individuals and/or groups. Presentations and tours are tailored to the specific needs of the group or individual. Presentations can be in a classroom, office or meeting space, or via Zoom.
Contact the library at library@sdsmt.edu to schedule a tour or presentation.
The library staff is trained to use the most effective research tools and techniques available for various research projects and share this expertise with those needing assistance with their research projects. Staff members are happy to assist library users, demonstrating use of library resources, to help them complete their research as efficiently as possible.
