South Dakota Mines recognizes and supports the important role of fraternities and
sororities on the campus. Fraternities and sororities provide a valuable developmental
component of the undergraduate experience and enhance the experience of campus life.
With 5 men's fraternities, 1 co-ed fraternity, and 2 sororities, there are plenty
of options to choose from when finding a good fit in our fraternity and sorority life
community.
Co-ed Professional Fraternity
Alpha Chi Sigma is a professional fraternity dedicated to promoting chemistry and
the chemical sciences.
Sorority
Alpha Delta Pi is a sorority for women who are looking for lifelong personal growth
and friendship and was founded in 1851. Our mission is to provide women with a meaningful
lifelong member experience that empowers them to reach their full potential through
leadership, educational, philanthropic, and social opportunities.
Sorority
Beta Delta Mu is a STEM sorority with a mission to empower women in STEM through dedication
to sisterhood, professionalism, and lifelong learning. We aspire to find women who
represent our core values of strength, compassion, sisterhood, connectivity, respect,
mentorship, and integrity.

Chi Psi is a Fraternity of gentlemen devoted to the personal and collective needs
of its members.

Triangle is a fraternity of engineers, architects, and scientists. SDM Triangle focuses
on building an environment where brothers can build brotherhood, philanthropy, professionalism
and scholarship while maintaining our core values of friendship, stability and character.
All the while, brothers are sure to maintain a work-life balance that leaves time
to enjoy living in the house.

Phi Kappa Tau builds lifelong brotherhood, promotes leadership and personal growth,
supports academic success, and gives back through community service. It fosters strong
values, provides networking opportunities, and creates a lasting sense of belonging
that extends well beyond college.

| The purpose of Greek Council is to promote cooperation between the fraternities, sororities, and administration, as well as to discuss topics of mutual interest. Greek Council coordinates the Greek calendar of events and sponsors service activities. | Order of Omega is an honor society for members of the Greek community who have achieved a high standard of leadership in interfraternity activities. |
